Rooted in heritage. Held in Quebec.
Shameel Therapy was born from a quiet observation: that modern women are often disconnected from the rhythms that make a life feel whole. We exist to restore that connection — through traditional, restorative practices held in a space that honours stillness, dignity, and the feminine.
Restoration
We work with the body's own intelligence to lift what it has been carrying — physical tension, emotional heaviness, ancestral fatigue.
Rhythm
Lunar cycles, seasons, breath, sleep. Wellness is not an event; it is a return to the rhythms already inside you.
Ritual
Care, when held with attention, becomes ritual. We design each session as a small ceremony, not a procedure.
A quiet apartment in Hampstead
The practice is held in a private, cozy apartment — a space designed for women, where we also host small gatherings throughout the year. It is intentionally intimate, made for unhurried care.
I began practicing hijama during the pandemic, in a season where I was doing so much — and nothing was bringing me back to myself. Hijama did. It is a traditional practice; even where it is not formally regulated, we have found a way to honour our roots and care for one another. I do this work for women, because I needed it first.
